MalariaSpot, A Game That Allows Diagnosing Malaria Cases

Malaria kills more than a million people every year and in developing countries, it is a real public health problem. A group of young Spaniards have taken advantage of the usefulness of artificial intelligence and collective diagnosis to create MalariaSpot, an app that allows detecting cases of malaria by playing “hunting” parasites. The algorithms used make it possible for the opinion of 20 non-expert players to be equivalent to that of a professional, which means that more which means that more sufferers can receive treatment. The MalariaSpot team is still looking for investors, sponsors and foundations to support their project. Interested parties can send an email to: info@malariaspot.org
